Appy alternative: a Discord application bot in 8 languages
Appy is the most installed application bot on Discord, and it's free, so it's often the first one people try. If you're looking for an alternative, it's usually for one of these reasons: staff votes, a form people can fill in outside Discord, ban appeals in the same tool, or a bot in your community's language. Here's an honest comparison, with numbers.

What Toscio does differently
Your staff decides together. On Premium, each staff member votes For or Against right on the applicant's card. When the threshold you set is reached, the application is accepted or refused on its own and the role is given.
Applicants can apply without Discord open. The web form asks the same questions on a page of your own, handy for a link on your website or server listing.
Ban appeals in the same place. A banned member can't post on your server anymore. With Toscio they fill in an appeal on the web, your staff handles it like an application, and accepting it lifts the ban. See the ban appeals use case.
In your members' language. Commands, panels, applicant messages and the dashboard are translated into 8 languages, so a Brazilian or German server doesn't send English messages to its applicants.
Applicants apply on your server. The form opens right inside Discord, without going through DMs, so members who closed their DMs can still apply.
A free plan that's enough to get started. 2 forms with 10 questions, unlimited applications, several roles given and removed on acceptance, choice and file questions: a mid-sized server can run without paying.
When to stick with Appy
Appy is a good bot, and sometimes the better choice:
- you want tickets and giveaways in the same bot as your applications;
- you run 3 servers and the £8.99 plan suits you better than Premium per server;
- you don't need staff votes, a web form or ban appeals.

Questions
What is the best Appy alternative?
It depends on what you're missing. If you want staff votes, a web form and ban appeals in one tool, or a bot that speaks your members' language, Toscio is built for that. If you mainly need tickets and giveaways in the same bot, Appy is still a good pick.
Is Toscio free like Appy?
Yes. Toscio's free plan includes 2 forms with 10 questions each, unlimited applications, several roles given on acceptance and file questions. Premium (€4.99/month) adds staff votes, the web form, ban appeals and CSV export.
Can I move from Appy to Toscio without losing my questions?
Yes: copy your questions into the Toscio form editor (or start from a template with /toscio setup), post the panel, then remove the old one. Both bots can run side by side during the switch.
Which languages does Toscio support?
English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Turkish, Polish and Russian: the bot, the messages sent to applicants, the dashboard and the docs. Each form has its own language, and messages to applicants follow theirs.
