Toscio vs FiveApply: which tool for your FiveM server whitelist?

By the Toscio team · Updated 19 October 2026 · 2 min read

For a FiveM RP server, the whitelist means dozens of applications every week. FiveApply and Toscio both solve this, but differently: FiveApply has players apply on a web page, Toscio has them apply right inside Discord. Here's the comparison, with numbers, so you can pick the one that fits your server.

The real differences

Apply without leaving Discord. Your players are already on your Discord. With Toscio, they click Apply, fill in the form inside Discord and get the answer by DM. No page to open, no account to connect.

No application cap. A server opening its whitelist can get 100 applications in a weekend. Toscio has no monthly limit, free or Premium: you don't pay more because your server is doing well.

In your players' language. The bot, applicant messages and the dashboard come in 8 languages, so a Brazilian, German or Polish server doesn't send English messages to its applicants.

Ban appeals in the same place. A banned player appeals on the web, your staff handles it like an application, and accepting it lifts the Discord ban.

When FiveApply is the better pick

FiveApply goes further in a few areas, and that's worth weighing:

  • you want to schedule voice interviews from the tool;
  • you want an in-game resource tied to applications, or webhooks to your CAD/MDT;
  • you'd rather have players apply on a web page than inside Discord.

Set up your whitelist with Toscio

  1. Add Toscio to your Discord server.
  2. Run /toscio setup with the RP whitelist template, the application channel, the staff channel and the whitelist role.
  3. In txAdmin, turn on "Discord Server Roles" mode with that role: our FiveM whitelist with txAdmin guide walks you through it.

Questions

Does Toscio work with txAdmin like FiveApply?

Yes. Toscio gives the Discord role on acceptance, and txAdmin lets in players who have that role ("Discord Server Roles" mode). The step-by-step setup is in our FiveM whitelist with txAdmin guide.

How many applications per month on the free plan?

With Toscio, applications are unlimited, on the free plan and on Premium. FiveApply caps its free plan at 20 applications per month, then 200 to 3,000 depending on the paid plan.

Do applicants have to leave Discord to apply?

No. With Toscio, the player clicks Apply in your channel and fills in a Discord form without leaving the server. On Premium, you can also offer the same form on a web page. FiveApply has players apply on a web page after signing in with Discord.

Why pick FiveApply over Toscio?

If you need interview scheduling, an in-game resource linked to applications or webhooks to your CAD/MDT, FiveApply offers them and Toscio doesn't. For a simple whitelist inside Discord, multilingual and with no application cap, Toscio is enough.

Your next application is two minutes away.

Add Toscio, run /toscio setup, pick a template. That’s it.
