Toscio slash commands
Toscio has one slash command, /toscio, with four subcommands. Most of the day-to-day work happens through buttons (Apply, Accept, Decline, Interview), so you only need commands to set things up, vote, manage personal data or get a reminder of how it works.
All Toscio replies to commands are only visible to you: nobody else in the channel sees them.

/toscio setup
Creates an application form from a template and posts the Apply panel. It's the fastest way to get started: see Get started for a full walkthrough.
| Option | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
template |
Yes | What the applications are for: RP whitelist (FiveM, GTA RP…), Minecraft whitelist, Staff recruitment, Team / esport recruitment, Guild / clan recruitment (MMO), MilSim unit recruitment, Member application (server access), Partnership requests, Creator / streamer program, Beta testers. |
channel |
Yes | Where members click "Apply". Text or announcement channel. |
staff-channel |
Yes | Where staff receive and review applications. |
role |
Yes | Role given when an application is accepted. |
staff-role |
No | Role that can review applications. It is mentioned on each new one. |
Good to know:
- Only members with Manage Server can run it. Others get: "You need the "Manage Server" permission to set up applications."
- Running it again with the same template updates the channels and roles, removes the old panel and posts a new one. Questions and texts you edited in the dashboard are kept.
- Running it with a different template creates a second form. On the free plan you can only have one form, so Toscio replies: "The free plan allows 1 form, and this server already has "…". Run /toscio setup with that template to edit it, or upgrade to Premium to create more."
- The form's language is the language of your Discord client when you create it.
- To give several roles, remove a role on acceptance, or ping several staff roles, use the form editor.
/toscio vote
Gives this server 12 hours of Premium when you vote for Toscio on top.gg. Any member can do it, not just admins.
- Type
/toscio votein the server that should get Premium. - Click Vote on top.gg and vote.
- Premium is active a few moments later. You get a thank-you DM with the end time (unless you turned off Toscio's DMs).
Run /toscio vote before each vote: top.gg only tells Toscio who voted, so the command is how Toscio knows which server to reward. You can vote every 12 hours. Voting again before the end restarts the 12 hours from now; it doesn't add up. More in Premium and voting.
/toscio privacy
Shows how many applications Toscio keeps about you and on how many servers, with three buttons:
- Download my data: sends you a JSON file with everything Toscio keeps about you.
- Delete my data: deletes all your applications on every server, after a confirmation.
- Privacy policy: opens the privacy policy.
Works in servers and in DMs with the bot. Details in Member data and privacy.
/toscio help
Shows "Applications in 3 steps": how /toscio setup works, how members apply, and what staff can do. Handy to share with a new moderator.
Buttons you'll use every day
These aren't commands, but they're how Toscio works most of the time:
- Apply (panel): opens the questions for members.
- Continue (between steps): shows the next 5 questions when a form has more than 5.
- Accept / Decline / Interview (staff card): see Reviewing applications.
- Stop these messages (in Toscio's DMs): lets a member turn off direct messages from the bot. Turn messages back on reverses it.
Questions
Why does /toscio setup say I need a permission?
Everyone sees /toscio, but setting up applications needs the Manage Server permission, inside a server. Ask an admin to run /toscio setup, or to give you that permission.
Are the commands translated?
The names stay the same in every language (/toscio setup, /toscio vote, /toscio privacy, /toscio help), so guides and screenshots always match. Their descriptions and the template names follow your Discord language.
Where did /setup, /vote, /privacy and /help go?
They are now subcommands of a single /toscio command. On a server with many bots, typing /toscio lists everything Toscio does in one place.
